I knew a prepper would have some good batteries somewhere :mrgreen:

They are interesting little lamps, have you filled it yet? When you do check the bottom seals on the fuel tank, some are not 100%

I had a couple of these size in a camp shelter I built some years ago, as seen in the top right of the picture below.

They were OK, but they leaked a bit from the seam around the bottom of the tank, so not good for in the house, but OK outdoors.

Ive not filled it yet gnoley, will give it a run out next week.

I have read from numerous people about the leakage at the base, poor design to not have the fuel holder as a one piece item, I have a soldering iron, so if it leaks, may attempt to go around the base with some solder.

I have a friend, who keeps bees and has made bee wax candles using things from his land. The only thing he bought was the lighter to light them :lol:
