I knew a prepper would have some good batteries somewhere 
They are interesting little lamps, have you filled it yet? When you do check the bottom seals on the fuel tank, some are not 100%
I had a couple of these size in a camp shelter I built some years ago, as seen in the top right of the picture below.
They were OK, but they leaked a bit from the seam around the bottom of the tank, so not good for in the house, but OK outdoors.

Ive not filled it yet gnoley, will give it a run out next week.
I have read from numerous people about the leakage at the base, poor design to not have the fuel holder as a one piece item, I have a soldering iron, so if it leaks, may attempt to go around the base with some solder.

I have a friend, who keeps bees and has made bee wax candles using things from his land. The only thing he bought was the lighter to light them
