I have been finding a lot of useful prep stuff in B&M Bargains and WHAT Shop.

30 metres of rope £1 Tarpaulin sheet 3 metres x 3 metres £2 ( theres a nice shelter there)

£1 handy size first aid kit very basic but has the essentials

Both do very cheap candles , Boxes of paracetamol 20p

When i was at uni, i used to run a BOGOF Scheme, where i would pair up students who wanted similar shopping to each other and they would literally buy all the bogof deals that they liked then split the bill. I have done this a few times with my neighbour and it can be a very cheap shop

I quite often buy from Endicotts. They do a 'personal shopper' type mail order, you tell them the Grade and any preference (for instance, I don't mind scuffed up toes on my boots but I want the least wear on the sole as possible)
