I've Been a "prepper" since i was a child really. I grew up in the New Forest which was pretty much my play ground so i learned how to look after myself in the wilderness pretty fast.
Later on i became a Scout then Cadet and have had other jobs since then in the Public sector that have taught me many lessons on how to keep alive in some sticky situations.
I've had a few knocks and learned lessons the hard way but there is no better practice or motivator than first hand experience.
I tend to keep myself in a constant state of being Prepared for anything from my survival kit and supplies to my mental state. Most people find it sort of weird but i'm quite happy doing it and that's all that matters to me.
So thats me, feel free to say hi and hopefully i'll share and learn as much as i can
I now work on the rail and have plenty of time on my hands to build shelters, hunt game and stockpile
