Its an interesting site - somebody's worked hard at trying to provide summaries of prepper information while selling as hard as they can. I'm researching sanitation at the moment so the history of what people did before toilet paper was good!

Shortening is any fat that is solid at room temperature eg butter, lard, margarine etc.

It would be useful to have some more UK links so it is relevant to us UKPreppers. Although US info is good and interesting when it comes to food and food growing it is very, very different.
