Anyone else thinking about prepping pickles?
I have a thing for pickles eggs!
Considering adding them to my preps.
And the left over vinegar and the large jars they come in will prove useful.

Definitely. I think the strong taste would help with the blandness of some of the foods we prep with.

Re: Pickles
A couple of months ago I started making my own red onion chuney. Just made a large batch (well, 4 jars!) the other week. It's lovely!
Re: Pickles
Absolutely,Certainly! I ADORE gherkins, red cabbage and beetroot. I also got into sauerkraut. I grow all of the above and am stocking vinegar and jars. Lovely.

Re: Pickles
My weakness is pickled Beetroot and Dill Pickles. Am growing plenty of both this year. Made some nice mixed pickle with onion, Summer squash, dehydrated tomato slices, carrots cauliflower and red and green peppers a couple years ago. Looked very pretty and tasted good too!
