Hi there, I spotted the Preppers sight a few days ago after much searching and sifting through other Survivalist sights, none of which seemed quite right, either because of their geographical location or their quirky and sometimes questionable content!
Like many other people I developed an interest and awareness of the need to "be prepared" many years ago after watching the original B.B.C. Survivors series on TV. At the time I made plans for that "What if...?" moment. As it never came I just got on with my ordinary life and all such thoughts became shelved somewhere in the back of my mind.
In the last few years though with so many potentially serious threats to our normal way of life all those original thoughts have come to the fore again and I have started planning and implementing serious preparation for that WTSHTF moment. Needless to say, all such plans are kept completely secret from friends, neighbours and even most of the family.
I look forward to sharing thoughts, advice and information with other like minded folk on this sight.
