Snakes!

Post by Pointboy »

Does anyone know if you had to be out in the wild, how would you find and cook snake. I know that snake is pretty much muscle and full of nutrition and protein, but how would you track them down? I have only ever seen one live snake in the wild and one dead one :)

It would depend on what area of the UK you were in, In Ireland you might start to starve as there aren't any snakes allegedly.

There aren't that many snakes on the mainland UK, Grass snakes is about it, and they are protected under the wildlife and countryside act.

Been there many of times but never seen any snakes, but if you had to eat something and came across snakes how to prepare them and cook them?

In the UK you are never more than 8 miles from civilization, so why would you need to?

As said above, they are protected, so you cannot kill nor eat them to keep within the law of the land.

I'm saying this if there has been some sort of possible agricultural disaster or something else.

It would still be illegal.

Go look for something easier to catch and kill that isn't illegal to do so.
