Sand table

Post by Pointboy »

Ok I, not sure where I would put this one at all haha but I'm just wondering does anyone else here use sand tables for planning defence around your general area or to use for planning routes for escape if needed? I just bought the sand table app for the ipad and was wondering if anyone else uses them for planning or as I said planning possible land defence of your property if SHTF, I know it may seem abit American but yeah just wondering if I'm the only one :D

Looks good, I do the same kind of thing but for other uses (planning MTB routes and such) I just use a laminated fairly large scale OS map and always carry a compass, I don't think it seems to American just to know you evac routes and auxiliary routes.

Just my 2 pennies worth.
