Hello
I am new to forum. I am trying to prep on a budget and want to include my dog. I am keen to get reading - my main concerns are finding a local water supply and how to forage safely.

Hello and welcome.
Most of us are prepping on a budget so it can be done.
I store water as well as knowing where a local water source is, maybe storing is a good place to start while you are researching.
Foraging. There are some good books recommended elsewhere on the forum but I would always suggest finding a local group or a course you can go on. I know they cost money but maybe it's something to put on your Christmas list.

Hi there!
Prepping on a budget? Don't consider that a hindrance to prepping! It can be done. Just have a good read of this forum and keep coming back. Members post up bargains they have found etc. Lots of good advice to be found here too.
Well done for taking the step of joining. Jump in and don't be afraid to ask questions.

Although i find alot of info on the internet when the time comes you my not have that luxury.Every now and the i look in the chairty shops or boot fairs for books.I have built up a small libary ranging from wild edables, herbs for medicine, sea fishing,SAS tips for surving are a few.
As for as food i brought 48 tins of mushy peas from Sainsburys for 8p each not much of a dinner but mixed with some rice or something it will fill a hole. The pound shop sells 3 liter bottles of Orange squash which is a bargin and the bottle is handy to use after. If you can save a few pence on some items you have a bit left for a few more.
