I go to Treehugger every few days as part of the research for my water-saving website, and found quite a few posts there recently that are relevant to us. This one fits into the bug out bag section so neatly, I couldn't resist posting the link. Its about prepping specifically for an earthquake (the OP lives in San Francisco!) but its thoughtful, and seems realistic to me.
