canning food

Post by Rob121 »

iv been looking for somewhere to can my food (iv seen the Americans go to a local Mormon center) i phoned a branch of the Mormons in UK and they said they dont provide this service in Europe also i cant find anyone else who does it (iv found freeze dried food at extortionate prices).

im considering buying a home canner but it is quite expensive and im thinking if enough people were interested ill happily sell dried canned food for a good price (shelf life is usually about 25-30 years)

im looking to recoup some/all the cost of the machine and give us in the UK a service i think we badly need!
leave a message here of what you think and if i get enough positive responses ill seriously look at buying one in a couple of months

There is a LDS shop/website based in the UK who supply some food, I cant remember the details or the name though but will have a look, someone posted a link on here to the site a couple of months ago

okay will do. i need more people interested though because it will cost me too much. all the sites iv looked at (including the ones on here) are really expensive and i know i can do it cheaper if more people would be interested.
