stumbled across this site by accident, looks an interesting place, i have always had an interest in building a bunker/shelter of some sort where I could store all the things necessary to survive for weeks, don't know whether its going to be nuclear strike economic collapse or good old weather such as hurricane tornado etc
would like to discuss how best to build a bunker and maybe ventilation. battery power etc etc
started off with fiberglass in mind something like these ? but have moved over to concrete, maybe
also the legality is hard to confirm
when i reaserched planning permission for bunkers it seemed to suggest that bomb shelterS were removed from the need to have planning control during the war,
couldent have a secret bomb shelter if everyone knew about it could you,
but my council are adamant any engineering project must have planning permission
about as clear as mud as usual when you involve the council lol
