Hello everybody.

Thought it was about time I joined a community of like minded individuals, so here I am. I am a fairly new prepper looking for advice, tips and possibly meet ups if there are any near me. I do have some knowledge on survivial and other useful recipes. I am competent with navigation and basic survival skills in adverse weather and temperatures from doing Ten Tors/Duke of Edinburgh gold award 10 years ago, I have built on this knowledge and could likely survive indefinitely (in a normal situation but not during a disaster or attack with my current gear).

I have only just started taking things much much more seriously, And have began my Bug out bag. So why have I begun this? Nuclear or conventional world war. The way the worlds governments are today, the idiocy I hear and see coming out of politicians around the world and at home, I feel it has become inevitable that there will be a war that effects the homefront.
