Dehydrators..

With Christmas coming up, Mrs Cypher has said I can have a dehydrator :D
being new to these I'm not exactly clued up on what to buy so, would the following be a good place to start?

This is on my Xmas list so I'm looking forward to this thread. I've seen this on Amazon, there are others as well.

I did a lot of research before buying one 2 years ago and this one is the dogs danglys..... :D

Would love one of those!!! Can't afford dogs danglies one yet though so starting off with a smaller cheaper version but that is my ultimate goal.

I'm going for the square Andrew James one from Amazon.

Hmm now that does look pretty impressive, may have to ask swmbo to combine xmas and birthday pressies and go for that one.

Mines a westfalia.net £35 single temperature jobby. A few years old and still works. You have to watch it all the time its on through, checking it every few hours and rotating the trays, but it does the job.

I would love a big scary excalibur, but I have space restrictions.
