saw a program a few years ago were they showed tea being grow in Cornwall , during world war 2 Churchill wanted to grow our own tea but discovered it takes 5 years before it can produce leaves that can be brewed but the house were they started the project continued with it

Already brought a plant from Cornwall on a visit this year. Hopefully I will never have to use it but just in case :D I like tea in the morning
