Nutritional value of vegetables

This page gives a rather positive breakdown of what your vegetables whether they be purchased or home grown, actually contain in terms of goodness. Could be useful when trying to balance your diet, creating variety and seeing what you can do health wise.

Remember, you need an approx 2000 kcal a day

It is surprising how few calories you get from most veggies. Vegans are encouraged to have avocardo, nut milk and sprouts (eg., lentil and mung bean sprouts) to help beef up their calorific intake.
