Hello fellow preppers,
I am Isabo a prepper from The Netherlands. Next year I'll turn 50. Can't wait for that.
With 3 adult children with special needs, who still live at home, it's a lot of work preparing.
Last October I joint the dutch preppercommunity on www.preppers.nl because there are things changing in the world. For example the weather in G.B.
I noticed that people who's homes where flooded often did not have toilet paper anymore or water in bottles. So I started to stock up.
I bought the book " how to survice a crisis" from Dick Berts (only in dutch) and became aware of the vulnarability of our water and electric system (don't know the propper term for this, sorry). Now I have water filters, solar chargers, canned food and other food supplies, water in bottles and everything for our food, water and cleaning needs for a month in advance incl animal foods. Still, not enough, I know. I even got a tent (hate camping) and a enfirovit rocket stove (love it).
A few weeks ago I started a twitter account because it's the fastest way to get the news and a woman named Surviver Jane immediately followed me. It's her tweeds that made me aware of this forum and here I am.
If I don't know the right word for something of make a spelling mistake, please forgive. I do my best.
Isabo

Thank you.
We have an very active group. It's a joint Dutch/Belgium with a forum (recently added was an english section to get in contact with other countries), a webshop and even a shelter camping. Never been there but it's great fun I hear and has a lot of learning experiences.
