hello preppers

Post by iamthebob »

Hello Iamthebob I'm sure there are others. I'm not that new to prepping I started really after two events the first was snow and I couldn't commute to work for 3 days. Even though I live in a large industrial town a lot of the shops ran out of food which was a bit of an eye opener, in that how fragile the 'system' was and how easily it could fall down, I started storing canned food, not ingredient foods but meals in cans. The second event was the swine flu outbreak, my mother in law worked at the time in a hospital and contingency plans were put in to place to deal with the influx of people and what would happen if martial law were put into place and it scared me so I started prepping, not necessarily for a pandemic event but for a civilisation collapsing event which could occur after I witnessed the fragility of the things we depend on.
