Re: Best Search & Rescue Tool?
Looks like a good idea, and id say it's almost there, people will always find fault with an idea but I can't see much wrong with this.
One thing that could maybe be added is a speaker and microphone, just small ones so that you can hear people you maybe can't see, and so you can at least try and you can ask them details etc.
Mic would be more important than the speaker if say

They're always one step ahead of us!
Never realized, but I think its a great way to fight crime!
I know what you mean, there's loads of ideas rattling around. I think my first priority is trying to make it more usable - in the sense it can climb stairs ect. I was thinking about completely re-designing it and building it out of meccano? Sounds a bit childish but if it works, it works. Add some tracks to climb stairs, a light that can be remotely turned on/off etc and also making it semi-waterproof in case a pipe has burst. Still trying to figure out how it could open closed doors? I don't know if that's going to be achievable though.Paddy1795 wrote:Looks like a good idea, and id say it's almost there, people will always find fault with an idea but I can't see much wrong with this.
