haha, not planning on leaving him, hes mostly amazing. im pretty sure he would survive just fine with the training he has had and gets, he just doesnt want me blowing all my hard earned on stuff i may never need! but it is MY hard earned after all, bills are all paid so if i wanna spend my free cash on preperations i will! he doesnt really have anything to say after that!

I should have also said "welcome" please forgive my oversight.
But, I reckon you are doing whats right and if someone thinks that you are a lunatic, then they have just got to take the plank out of their own eye haven't they.
There isn't much economic stability around these days, so doing the best that you can in case of losing a job or your income or bad weather, or flooding etc is a good thing.
One of the people who was interviewed in the floods said that they always had food in so that wasn't a problem for them. She was an upper class lady and I am sure that he woudln't call herself a prepper (I'm not sure If I do either sometimes), but they had food in case of emergencies.
and hey presto, an emergency happened and they had food.

Thanks, I know what your saying ofcourse, I have emergency supplies.....
I work two jobs at the moment so if I lose one then I hopefully wont be in the poop too much, lets hope I dont lose either of them, I also live in the flatlands so floods are often a risk here! many reasons to be prepared for emergencies!
