Going through my late father's stuff, I came across this knife.

It's a Finnish Martiini and I remember him being given it as a business gift by Finnish Colleagues some thirty odd years ago. Although not the best in the world, it's up there

Sentimental value and useful - a combination that cannot be beaten. Lovely thing for you to find :)

Very nice when you find something years later, I found a knife recently that had been stored at my parents place since leaving home 30 years ago, it was in my old fishing bag, I even remember where I bought it, a country fayre in Tregarron back in the 1970's, it brought back some good memories.

But these taditional made/looking knives are great bits of kit, I have a few similar looking Frosts Moras.

Very nice find, great to have a tool like that which also has sentimental value. Is it a custom?

Very nice indeed.

Is the engraving your fathers name? Or is it in Finnish?

The engraving is the makers name. Sorry I'm such a lousy photographer.
