Car Kit - mine so far....

I am sorting out a car prep kit and this is where i'm at so far:

blanket, hat, hi viz, cards, survival blanket, survival bag, whistle, baby wipes, screwdrivers, multi tool, duct tape, head torch, knife, notepad and pencil, 3 bin bags, ice scraper, matches, rope, spare glasses and cable ties.

Not in picture - boots, coat.

things I need to get:
warning triangle
tyre inflator
first aid kit
food


anything else I have forgotten?

Bag of ordinary cooking salt.
Got my car out of a few snowey/icey situations when just couldnt get enough grip to pull out from a kerb on a camber, or similar situation.

Multi pack of handbag tissues from a £1 shop can be used as loo paper and does not take up a lot of room, small writing pad with pencil/pen and a birght coloured ribben to tie car arial or tree branch in case of being buired under snow

I like the ribbon idea, but my car has an integral arial so nothing to tie it too :lol:

I've got one of those elements that plug into your cigarette lighter socket, handy for making a brew in the car, but it takes about 10-15 mins to boil a half pint cup of water.

I got 1 of them portable tire pressure checkers and has come in handy a few times when i have been working away from home =)

and snow chains , got a cheap set form lidl £20 , in the van under the seat for that one i time i get stuck , even if they last only a couple of uses ive got my moneys worth
