Anyone use Maxpedition gear?
Anyone use Maxpedition gear?
Looking at some Maxpedition kit at the moment. I suppose the question should be,is it worth the money?

I've been eyeing up some Maxpedition stuff too. It looks really well made. If you look at some YouTube reviews, the gear does look like quality stuff - good strong stitching, etc.
I'd like to find a shop I could go look at it and see for myself, but then I'm a bit old fashioned and don't always trust interweb shopping!

I have a few items and they are very well made and stand up to loads of abuse. Better than many similar products.
They are pricey though, but I'd buy more kit.
I have the versapack jumbo, edc pocket organiser and another small pouch.

I have several Maxpedition products - Falcon II Backpack, Jumbo EDC Versipack, 10 X 4 Water Bottle Holder, Rat Wallet, and the Urban Wallet. All very well made bits of kit. I've used them all a lot and I love them. Prices vary slightly depending on where you get them from, but worth the money in my eyes.

Yes- But have a look at 5.11 or Bugout Gear- they are cheaper!
Re: Anyone use Maxpedition gear?
I use a Maxpedition Jumbo Versipack as my everyday hiking/walkabout bag and I honestly can't fault it.
They are a little pricey and i'm sure that you could get something for the similar price but as for the build quality it's second to none (that's what Maxpedition are known for)
I've had mine for a good 2/3 years now and it's been everywhere from the Scottish highlands to Sweden.
Although I'm a bit of a Maxpedition fan boy, i would say look around as i'm sure there are other makes around that make durable bags at a cheaper price. But as with anything, you get what you pay for. And the option to add additions to your Maxpedition bag is a bonus.
