Dorset preppers

Hi all, are there any guys or girls out there from Dorset? Looking at a gathering if anyone is interested and as a sweeten I can teach some basic bushcraft and survival skills to you if you like?

As has been said before, people like to build up trust first before arranging to meet someone new. So, may I suggest you become an active member, build a good reputation and trust with other members and then people will be more willing to have a get together.

Just my two pennies worth - but it worked for me.... :D

An admirable intention, however what you propose has a potentially serious downside - hence the lack of interest from the regulars.

I strongly recommend new joiners search on the word "OPSEC" and have a read of those threads. There are a lot of good reasons, extensively discussed, why maintaining a low profile and staying off the radar is a more optimum strategy.

It's not to say that cooperation is never appropriate - just that you have to be real careful how you do it and who you do it with otherwise you could endanger yourself and your family post SHTF. There are plenty of people on this forum that meet up - but those meetings are usually invitation only.
