Hi everyone , I live on the outskirts of East Wales, I am a member on some other forums on almost related subjects ,shooting ,hunting, bushcraft etc, I live not too far from the Brecon Beacons Nat. Park and have done so most of my life.

Have been in my current home for about 27 years and am now mortgage free.

I shoot mainly target now but have shot and hunted for food for a little time - around 4 years now, Im also keeping some poultry and have a bit of a veg patch I am hoping to get some stuff grown on next year.

My other interests are Archery, photography, camping and do like to go for a bit of a ramble in the countryside every now and then, though the rambling,camping and photography are higher on the list these days ,I have two kids (Girls) they grew up with me encouraching them in my forays, but the oldest thinks I am a bit "odd".

I grew up making the most of the outdoors and its interests and making a lot of my own tools/hobbies as most of us did then,
got into survival through reading at first (then realising I had been doing it for years in life) read a few of the mags that were around in the 70's -80's (Survival and Outdoor Techniques) and have a few books on related subjects (both real and electronic) i would like to meet up with others with similar interests and outlook (workmates use to think me a bit mad Im sure) thats about it for now ,would like to know others thoughts and feelings , hence joining the forum (and to gain knowledge).
