In a proffessional capacity I have been using woundglue for several years. As has been said it is just superglue manafactured in a sterile enviroment.

I would advise against using glue of any kind unless you know exactly what you are doing. There are several issues..

1. Any thing in the wound is sealled in increasin risk of infection.

2. If the glue enters the wound it damages the tissue

3. It. Does generate heat

4. In a none clean enviroment it is dificult to prepare and cleen the wound

5. If done wrong you risk giving yourself long term problems

My advice is steristrips or similar. They are easy to use and cheap.

But before anything make sure it is clean. Very clean an infection is going to make your life far worse than most wounds. Once it is clean a good sterile dressing.

Set him on fire and he will be warm for the rest of his life..

As a Butcher I have had MORE than my share of lacerations. Listen to the Medics here. I have steri strips in my kit because they work. Experience. A dirty wound is literally a world of hurt .Always keep it clean.
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.
