Re: End of the World Treats
I'd go for something sugar free - like naked bars - healthy AND yummy!

Go on, its the end of the world - have some suagry treats.

Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

Not as long as chocci but less likely to need a dentist. Cheapest to buy in multipacks from supermarkets.Bladerunner wrote: What is the shelf life on the Naked Bars?

For me, I've got my homebrewing gear to make 'wine' from any leftover fruit - I think that would be a morale booster! I've also stock piled miso soup, I can imagine hot soup being good for the spirits.
At some point I'll get some chickens, fresh eggs, yum.

Several times now i have attempted to store chocolate and biscuits... its a great form of energy, tasty, makes you feel better and is an easy item to keep on ur person when venturing away from home..junmist wrote:7 YEARS chocolet wouldn't last 7 minutes with mebut nice to know that it will last.
However, my sweet toothed wife keeps finding it and eating it!!

ASDA's own chocolate is very palatable now, so after the SHTF I would imagine it would taste even nicer.
30p for 100g, I buy ten and vacuum seal them as a 1Kg block.
If 1Kg is not going to satisfy someones craving then I don't know what will.
Still waiting to see if anyone knows how much rock is in a seaside shop. I will try and get a wholesale batch when I can afford it but for the time being I just want to know how much it is retail.

Depends on the size of the stick, but I think the stick of rock I bought last time I went to the seaside was about £2ish. I'm off home for a visit on Saturday and despite not being that close to the sea, I think there's a shop that sells rock. I'll try and remember to pop in and check out the price.Bladerunner wrote: Still waiting to see if anyone knows how much rock is in a seaside shop.
