UK supplier of powdered egg, here: http://internationalegg.co.uk/

A prepping friend of mine has used these and says as follows: "I have ordered from them, their whole egg is great! It's a bit pale, but it replaces fresh egg very well, it makes a great omelette and scrambled egg. French toast the lot! Obviously you can bake with it too."

I can understand why people might want this but you can't beat a warm, fresh egg from your own chickens. :D

I use powdered egg whites as I eat a lot of eggs but I don't eat the yokes (for health reasons), as I mix herbs and chilli into my omelettes I don't really taste any real difference.

Next time you're down this way you must pop in for a bacon and egg bap (bacon from the piggies, eggs fresh from the chickens and homemade bread rolls!).

I have got me own poultry, but preserving the surplus is good. That link from Itsy is good, but I am thinking about that dehydrator...
