it always amazies people when they drop a bit of water on it scrunch it up and get a handful of frothy suds! especially kids cant wait to wash with leaves when cant get them near a bath usually!

I've just logged on to Amazon and ordered myself a dehydrated 'jameswhite' . In an emergency just add water... :lol:

I cycled past a lady picking the local blackthorn tree down to its branches - b*tch! :evil:

Just goes to show; do you leave them and leave them, hoping for them to be perfect to pick, or wait for someone else to pluck the tree dry...

That's why I always jump early.

Still every cloud and all that, it's saved you the cost of the sugar and the gin! And it saved you taking up my dare :lol: sloes are really sour and bitter! It's hard to imagine when you taste one that it can be turned into anything remotely palatable!

She knew 'reservoir' she knew. I gave her that look that said 'you bastard, they were mine!'

Off out tomorrow after work to find a new tree :cry:

when youve drunk the gin dont throw berries away add them to melted chocolate and refregerate to make "hunters chocolate"

I made my first bottle of sloe gin last night. I know, I know, I did it too early. It's my first attempt so I'm oober keen. So, how and when do I separate the pips to make hunters chocolate?
