I am looking to get one that is heavy duty an as bulletproof as possible. Can someone please point me in the right direction

Sadly stuff doesn't seem to be made to last these days.
I saw a really good documentary called "The Lightbulb Conspiracy" which documents how companies actually design their products to fail. Anyone who has had an Epson printer will tell you.
It might be available on youtube.

As for a good vacuum sealer, unless you go for an industrial one which will cost the earth, a google search for reviews wouldn't be a bad place to start.

There are a lot of videos on youtube where people show their own sealers. Find one you think you can trust and go with that. Mine hasn't broke down yet but it certainly isn't bullet proof. Can't remember off the top of my head what make it is but if you want to check I will do.
