Post by sweetvibes »

Hello every one, i am a 30 yr old male currently living in London Plaistow witch aint to far from the 2012 olympic stadium.
I have been into prepping for a long time and was very happy to see a series being showed about it on TV, Currently i am looking for work along with many others in this country for about 3 years but in the 3 years i a have looking it got me thinking about how things could change if not finding a job went on for say 10 years?
Im at the point were all i need to do now is stock up on food, i live with my wife and 6 month daughter so any suggestions on to what types of food would be nice, i was looking at foods that just require hot water like noodles?

Hello and welcome to the Forum. :)

Foods and hot water for a start:

Gnocci
Rice
Pasta/ Noodles
Simmer Soups.

Dont forget your stock cubes/spices/tabascos to add flavour to all the above.

I have recently become hooked on gnocci with tubed tomato and garlic paste for a quick snack when out in the woods,

shaped potato more or less about the size of ravioli drop it in boiling water when it floats it's ready
I have a strategy, it's not written in stone, nor can it be, this scenario has too many variables, everything about it depends on those variables, being specific is not possible.
