Can anyone recommend a place where I can buy flexible tubs for garden use for as cheap as possible, please? I'm looking for some that are about 25 litres in size (5 to 6 gallons) for growing vegs and such in. I need to be able to have things somewhat mobile/non-permanent at the moment.
Here's a pic to show what I'm talking about:
Edit: Or should I perhaps consider 40 litres ones instead? I have no experience growing food in containers.
Juveca im not sure where the best place is but remember to stick a drain hole or two in I forgot this with my experiment this year and with all this rain it was not pretty.
Thanks for the info, I'll make sure to remember about the holes.
I found these 3 "packs" at Tesco and for the price (£7.99) they seem to be a bargain. I can also get them sent to the store near me and collect them so that I don't pay delivery. I doubt that I'll find them any cheaper than this?

Not only holes but
(a) put bits of brick or polystyrene at the bottom to aid drainage
(b) put the bucket on some bricks so the water drains away from the bucket
As for use of the buckets, depends on what you are growing in them. If root veg, then they are ideal but if you are growing surface crops, you won't need it so deep as the roots will only go down a few inches so you will be wasting compost.
I asked the good lady to order some of those from Tesco (the clubcard is in her name.) I figured they are a great price and even if they are too big I can simply put less soil/compost in them for things that don't have deep roots. They should be nice for potatoes too.
Juvecu, also good for beans these need 12" root run minimum.
If using for things with shallower roots then "bulk up" the bottom with stones / cardboard etc then put 6" compost on top, otherwise plants will be leggy trying to get up to the light.
Thanks Ferricks, that makes good sense. I have some round stones that I can put in the bottom. Would I still need to elevate them if I put them onto bare earth?
