Hello from bucks

Post by worriedoflondon »

Hello,

As above really. I am a prepper based in Buckingham shire have recently moved there to be able to grwon my own food easier.

As the house is sucking up a lot of funds, my main prep at the moment is restarting martial arts training. The almost main prep ;) is fortifying the house in a non observable way. If anyone has any info or tips on doing this i would be interested? I also have a list as long as my arm of things that i need to do but there you go.

i came to prepping from i guess if i was honest a little bit of a conspiracy theory fan back ground. after the 2008 collapse/general "oh we did not expect that" things became a lot clearer and i realized how easily the wheels could come off. From there i went through the Alex Jones/James W Rawles/ferfal route. Ferfal is the closest to my mindset about planning for events which have a low impact but high probability.

anyway nice to meet (virtually) a bunch of likeminded people

Welcome to the forum! I'm quite new myself, and am a complete beginner in terms of martial arts training and fortification, so I'll certainly be watching and learning along with you - tho I *do* have next Tuesday in my diary to go to my local shooting club, already met the Chairperson.

You might also be interested in the Grey Man stuff (about blending into the background) - I don't know the forum well enough yet to find the threads, but if you search, you might find some really interesting stuff.
