I lived in the Dacorum area for a few months which was brilliant for foraging, rabbit munching and getting away from people. Brilliant part of the worldjunmist wrote:Hi and welcome from Hertfordshire

hello and welcome
if you don't want to live in London itself, one of the commuter belt towns would do it - I live in Guildford and worked in London for 5 years - the train itself into Waterloo was only 25 mins, but it was making your way from Waterloo to the office that was horrible. But maybe an idea - nice Surrey Hills location and close enough to London for work?

Living in guildford would actually be far more convenient for my commute but I have to be nearer north london for my OH. We're living in Bucks so reasonably far out.maxilaura wrote:hello and welcome

Yeah I know what you mean! I commute in every day, my route isn't the quickest but it means I have 1 train and a 20 min walk the other end to the office so I avoid the tube completely!Delightful wrote:I've lived on the edge part-time for a few years OK but I feel like a sardine going into the center.
