Hi Mitch,
Love the dogs, my lad would be green with envy.
Hopefully I'm not returning Beleza to UK in the future, though I'm currently here in and fly back to UK every few months. On the watermaker front, I'm trying to source the pump at the moment, which is the key component, everything else is just plumbing. There are several options, a bog standard Karcher motor and pump or an American CAT type 45 pump which is about a grand...ouch. ebay is a good source for such things though so keeping an eye out while I collect the other bits.
The Victron is a good inverter, but boy are they expensive, I currently use a Nikkai semi sinewave which runs everything except powertools that have a Thyristor chip in the build, it fries them! I'm currently looking at a cheap taiwanese inverter of 5000w mainly as back up as I tend to just put the diesel genny on for short periods when I need 240v everything else is 12v
Cheers Baz

Hi
So are in uk at moment ? got several bits and bobs around what spec pump are you looking for ?
The victron s are really good one I've got has been faultless have had it from new. Missed a second hand 3kw one on ebay a few weeks ago, so annoyed meant to bid on it and it and it went for £550 I was gutted !!
Always picking up bits and pieces, lots of boat stuff down this way, (west wales) anything in particular you need let me know.

Hi Mitch
Yes I'm in Uk at moment, gathering up kit to return to boat in a couple of weeks, driving down this time, not flying as the car is useful. Thanks for the offer on the pump, but the one I'm looking for is a stainless high pressure triple plunger pump of about 15 litres a minute at 3000psi, There's only cat and interpump that I know about that produce such a beast, they seem to be standard fitment on commercial ro systems.
