Hello from MacKin!!

Hi there,

Just a wee bit about me. I'm an IT Trainer from Glasgow and have been prepping for about a year. Took up fishing and shooting a couple of years ago and trying to build the skills to look after myself, wife and child (8 years old.) Built up some BOB's/Rucksacks for the three of us and over the last wee while replaced bigger gear with smaller/compact stuff. Been reading tonnes too and bought a few good pocket guides on wild food/foraging. My plans are around staying put until it becomes too dangerous, so have built up food stuffs - mainly tins, basic medicines, first aid. Really need to address water storage now which is probably the wrong way round and should have done this first but hey!!! I've not got a specific BOL but have a couple of places way out of the way where we have wild camped before, fished and done some poaching. Need to find a new way to get there though, as the main route is via motorways until you hit the dirt track, then the foot path, then the.... no path.

Really hoping that we're all wasting our time and that we all and our children live into a peacefull old age without any SHTF but with this old human race doing its best to destroy itself I'm damn sure I'm going to try my best to ensure we survive.

I found your site after reading lots of US forums and wondered if there was a UK movement and behold .... your site popped up first in Google!!! Love reading the articles and the fact there are so many of us with a firm handle on how we should try to live.
