BOB for a tenner

My first post here so be gentle ! I decided to see if I could make a BOB for under a tenner.
The idea is that 99.99% won't have a BOB and your friends/family/neighbours/passing refugee types might
appreciate something to help them out in a SHTF situation.

Limits I worked to:The total cost to be under £10
Only items that can be "scaled-up" to make 10,20+ identical BOBs, so no bargains found in
1's or 2's @ carboot/charity shops.
Get as many essentials as posible (see below various items I'd like didnt make it due to budget)

The Kit includes: food, water, shelter, method of firelighting/cooking, multi-use knife, hygiene items.
Everything can be packed into the tarp, tied up with paracord and a carry handle fashioned easily.

Feel free to give suggestions on what can be added/removed/replaced with cheaper alternatives.
No more than a tenner in total though !

I was also going to suggest the sugar from the local coffee shop - I take 3 little bags of sugar every time I go in

JFHC!!! 80 teabags for 30p?!?!?! That's gotta be just the paper bags right??? I am pretty fussy when it comes to my beloved tea, but 80 bags for 30p!!! If it was boiled water, pine needle (or other herb tea) or actual black tea (breakfast tea), I'd be on it quicker than a McDonalds thru your digestive system!

I think you and Sainsbury's done exceptionaly well there for £9.99, good list!

All the pound shops in my town are doing the (various coffeee makes) 2in1 or 3in1 coffee sachets, although i have gone for the 2in1 as the coffee content is 25% over 11% in the 3in1.

5x sachet +2x free are what you get for your £1, this is the Nesca** ones, ive been thinking alot about creamer as i do like a milky coffee but with double the coffee, so this is not a bad one at the minute, a friend of mine has been making his own with his vac-pac machine, so each sachet is exactly how he likes it in his crusader cup, but not sure how cst effective this is?

Oh and the poundshops are also doing just add water tea with milk and sugar? Not sure any real tea drinker would be into this, they normally come in a stack of plastic cups, but you could emty the contents into an airtight container to save space?

yes If i'm in a cafe i always grab a few extra salt and pepper sachet's if they are available.

What I include in mine are them Heinz Soup tubes, I think there new cause I only saw them for the first time about 3 months ago. But there concentrated soup that you add water too, but they taste like there normal tinned soup but only weigh 70g, only down side is that their shelf life is't as long as the tinned ones as these are in plastic pouches. They Taste a hell of a lot better that the powdered ones, plus you can add less water to make a sauce for pasta or more to make a sort of stock.

I'd highly recommend though that if you drink coffee to start drinking it black. I didn't like at at first, then about a week later (I generally have 3 cups a day) I love it and don't even have sugar in it any more. This means that all I have to carry is coffee, at the moment I have Starbuck's Via cause its the best instant coffee I've ever had.

I always take sundries from wetherspoons when I visit them, even when I'm not eating, but why not, they're all just on display. Same at Drive Through's just ask for extra.
