Just had a leaflet through the door of deals to be had a Co-op.....nothing much on there except 9 pack of quilted velvet t/paper @ £2.80 on offer from the 8th to 28th feb

We order our shopping fortnightly through Tesco. We get a 9-pack, but not sure how much we pay...

just taken advantage of the co-op special - got two 9 roll packs of quilted velvet for £2,80 each.

last week I bought from Sainsbug a 18 roll pack and it cost me over £7 - so am very happy with the offer above, thanks Allycat for letting us know about it.

Make sure you compare like with like, the key is the price per, say, 100 sheets, not the price per roll.

Many of the cheaper brands have many fewer sheets.

I have found that ordinary Andrex in multi-roll packs, often 18 per pack, from MACRO is consistently cheaper per sheet than others, but of course you need the access to MACRO.

depends on the strength too, what ply is it, i find anything less than 3ply is too flimsy!!

well, the Sainsbury Super Soft 18 roll pack that I bought last week is 2 ply with 240 sheets per roll

and

the Quilted Velvet 9 roll pack that I bought today is 3 ply with 165 sheets per roll

So, I'm pretty happy with the bargain I got today.

Your welcome and I also have already bought a cple packs, and envisage a few more visits to my local co-op after work in the next couple weeks that the offer is on

icelands do 9 pack for £2

lidls do a bulk pack but cant remember the price.

i never buy expensive roll as toddler has habit of trying to stuff a whole one down the toilet.
