Whilst the sci fi stuff, docudramas and documentaries are all very entertaining and discussion starting, its good to get a real perspective on life! I figured I might just get that here

Hiya from the Surrey/Hants borders
Hello *wave*. I am someone who tends to have a bit of the ole girl guide about her: I keep a screwdriver set, penknife and a whole variety of odd things in my hand bag at all times - you never know when you need stuff! I have been caught out the odd time when the kids were small so I tend to have eveything bar the kitchen sink to hand these days. I have also always been the sort to keep a few large bottles of water in the house in case the pipes freeze in the winter etc but lately I've become far more intregued by the possiblilties of what the world (and the human race) will throw at us and so feel the need to be at least vaguely prepared for that.
