What are your Immediate actions on......?

Re: What are your Immediate actions on......?
I try not to count anything as impossible though most is ridiculously unlikely. I also believe in murphys law so im trying to prep for the absolute worst case scenario, well one step down as worst case is I die an unflattering and untimely death. Anyway I feel that if I plan and prep for teotwawki and only suffer two days snowed in i win whereas the other way round I most definitely lose. And Murphy states if I've got food for 360 days, services will be restored on day 375 just as I expire from starvation

I don't think anyone is saying "impossible", but "improbable" is most likely. What do you personally class as "One step down from Absolute worst case"?
I agree that it is "Better to have and not need rather than to need and not have" but surely there is a cut off point where everyone must say enough is enough?
You could probably last longer than 15 days before you expire from starvation, but that's another discussion

Somehow I knew youd mention thatYou could probably last longer than 15 days before you expire from starvation, but that's another discussion
Absolute worst case would be complete breakdown of society with complete services failure but with the majority of the population still alive at the start. Not ready for it by a long shot mind
I agree you have to have a cut off point though. I don't think you could ever store enough for the above scenario so the cutoff will have to be arbitrary. I'll know when I get there

Re: What are your Immediate actions on......?
I am sure that at somepoint there will be disasters, Fires, floods, droughts, strikes and possibly even terrorist attacks that will interrupt some of our infrastructure and a big chunk of our economy but I really don't imagine that there will be a plunge into violent anarchy long term over any significant portion of our country. I do a lot of my prepping because it's fun and at times it can be frugal, the skills I learn I transfer over into many other areas of my life and in case there are temporary situations I hope that I'll be OK and so will my family, but first things first, Get the kettle on
