Hi,

I am from a small rural town in Lincolnshire, and have joined the forum to get an insight into what preparations would be neccesary.

I work in ICT and specialise in Service Continuity (Disaster recovery). Having spent so long risk assessing different failure scenarios for the authority I work for, its about time I made to plans for me and my family.

I am fortunate that my partner wroks for a dried food supplier, so I can probably get huge quantities of dried material from them, howver I am more interested in long term sanitation, and waste disposal as issues that never seem to be addressed.

I am lucky to own an allotment, and I should hopefully get some more chickens soon. I am also a trained Martial Arts Instructor - teaching for over 15 years. I am pretty usefull with most asian weoponary and the compound bow.

Looking forward to getting ideas on making my family safe should anything happen.
