OK, what should be our priorities when looking for sale bargains? Of course, this is personal so everyones comments will be treated with respect.
I will be looking for:
- some decent trousers (not jeans, although need some of those as well) suitable for walking, gardening, doing Forest School with the kids, etc etc.
- winter coat (waterproof, windproof etc)
- some fleecy tops,
- diy tools/equipment/safety stuff
What to look for in the sales?

Re: What to look for in the sales?
Well with Millets and Blacks "on the brink" there are going to be some even bigger sales from those outlets.
Plenty of outdoor clothing go at 40% off is good news for the consumer, though not for the retailer

I'm hoping to get some containers for planting. Also some books on growing your own veg and herbs. I've already priced the ones I want, so am just wanting for the sales to start to see if they get reduced at all.

Re: What to look for in the sales?
The Forest Schools are usually attached to the schools I teach in; most have their own piece of land within school boundaries but a couple use a local woodland to them and the children either walk or get minibussed to the site.moocher wrote:what forest school do you go to su.preppingsu wrote:OK, what should be our priorities when looking for sale bargains?
