I just have a couple of big ASDA black shopping bags with the essentials in, jump leads, tow rope, waterproof jacket, blankets, etc. as I don't tend to go too far.

If I am going on a longer trip I have a GHB/BOB rucksack that gets thrown in. I won't keep it in there permanently in case the car gets nicked. My GHB would probably cost more to replace than my car and I would miss it more than the car too.

I would say it is "spelt" correctly the American way, however I would spell it with an "s" myself - prioritise

both ways are acceptable
