Well you prep and you prep and the event still surprises you 7 1/2 hour labour resulting in a little boy of 6lb 9 1/2 oz.
You get it all ready and only know what you've forgotten or missed when you need it

Hopefully he'll be better prepared for whatever comes than I used to be. Hearing the other people on the ward you would think there had been no warning, they certainly don't sound ready for it Don't get me wrong, being 3 1/2 weeks early did catch us out a bit but being preppers all the bags were packed with a little list of the last items to grab lol
