Drag bag

Post by the-gnole »

Like all good owners of rifles, pistols etc I keep mine in a gun safe with the double headed keys and two five lever locks.

But when "out and about" shooting vermin etc I use a drag bag with rucksack type straps to carry it on my back until I need it. When taking it into town to the gun shop it goes in the same bag, except I usually take the knives and ammunition from the side pockets.

The closest I can find to what it looks like is this.

So what do other shooters here carry their rifles in when "out and about" and when taking it in for service or repair?

Interesting.

In my case, the whole purpose in me learning slingshot was so that i could have a smaller weapon and not need to have a gun case that would be conspicuous when walking to and fro.

I have a regular leather rifle case with fleece inside for my air gun.

Thing is though I can carry my rifle through the city centre in this without a problem. If I was stopped by anyone then nothing can be done, I wonder if I would get the same if it was a catapault in my pocket?

Also a bit difficult taking a catapault when the rifle needs a gunsmiths attention. ;)
