Hi there im new to this site and wanted to say Hello from Newcastle upon tyne.. im not a prepper as such,, i watched the doomsday program on nat geo, after youtubing fr a while i found EDC videos,, ive always carried loads of little bits of gear with me but never realised so many other people did to. Ive always been one for have lots of stuff in car breakdown kit first aid kit shovels the list goes on, so in a minnor way im a prepper in that respect. i fear now ive found this site its only a matter of time before im spending loads on all manner of gizmos and gear food water etc etc MY wifes gonna kill me lol

Anyway hello everyone looking forward to a lot of reading

:mrgreen: We got wives in here as well. She'll come round, esp if you stock up on food before the snow comes.. that's what won my husband over!

Hi everyone

Funny she always mocks me but is the first to ask me when she needs something or is looking for something, glad there are wives on here to :D
Was a great program i enjoyed it a lot. Thanks for tips on chocs being first prep. Aye i dont think kendal mint cake would have went down so well

Welcome to the site. Glad you found us.
I have a husband who wasn't sure about this prepping lark. But its been a verrrrrrry long time sinece we ran out of loo roll and he needed to do the early morning dash to the local 24:7. :D
Plus the kids think its great as there is always 'another one or two' on the shelves.
For most of us there's more to it than the food side but its a good place to start (especially if you include chocolate and wine!!!! ;) )

Hello, live a little further south than you. My wife doesn't know I prep but when she finds out, that could be the day she's very thankful I do! :lol:

Well my wife came in from work yesterday after a day of running to the loo :oops: , do you have any dioralyte, i reached into my bag of tricks to get her some, just they the lights tripped and i got my torch out at the same time,, i told her she is no longer allowed to mock my bag lol, she bought me a maxpedition pocket organiser for christmas :lol: RESULT :lol:
