hello from Guildford

Post by maxilaura »

I'm new to this site and to prepping as well. I've been interested in prepping for a while (without knowing it was termed "prepping" - only found that out last week when watching a tv documentary on Doomsday 2012) but have never actually done anything to start it off.

I am now starting out with a EVAC bag and want to start on stored food as well at some point.

I was wondering if anyone had any easy suggestions for me to start off with - I'm not ready to grow my own veg yet or have chickens etc in the back yard, but would like to get off on the right foot and move forward with prepping.

Any handy suggestions welcome.
Thanks
:)

Hello and welcome to the Forum. :)

Take your time and research, ask questions on here, no such thing as a stupid question.

Trust me there are enough people that have bought kit then updated it cause they snap bought the first time, I know I was/am one of them
Two is one and one is none, but three is even better.

First thing to do is relax - the answer is here somewhere. This is only my second day but the info and opinions here are almost endless - its like a virtual B.O.B. and more besides. Really helpful bunch too. Enjoy.
