Hi Scoobie,

I feel like we are being told off. My original post was a serious attempt to explore a method of storage utilising a by-product of another activity. I have now designed a couple of experiments, the results of which I will report if they have merit.

The Neil Oliver diversion was the result of some friendly joshing between Bulldogeagle and myself and, whilst being most certainly off-topic, I think that most people enjoyed them. Over the last couple of days, I have laughed so hard at times that I have had to order more incontinence pads. Not a bad thing in these grim times to my mind.

The subsequent diversion through the Grateful Dead to the late great Captain Beefheart, I think shows that the members are in the main free thinking free associating self actualising human beings who will probably be very useful after TSHTF.

No telling off at all, just 7 pages of 'waffle', with a couple of useful posts isnt really keeping the thread on track now really is it? But yes, the thread has brought some amusement which is why it's been let to wander about 84 miles off thread..

You wouldn't get this kind of (free) entertainment on any of those other prepping sites you know, Brambles. ;)

OMG!I have been a week off grid doing some wild fishing-real living. Sorry if I speak out of turn.Never read such a pointless thread.

Reckon I am going wild again if this is 'civilisation'!
In three words I can sum up everything I have learned about life: It goes on.

Covid 19: After that level of weirdness ,any situation is certainly possible.
