Wish me luck!

Got my meds delivered just now. So I have a bit over 3 months supply. Been and voted. Took some books to a free bookshop, as part of decluttering. Went to post office to send something back to Amazon.

Woo Hoo. My crimper, plugs and roll of cable arrived today, so that's my project for the afternoon. Four x 5m cables to be made up and installed. 'Him Indoors' can get up on that roof. Not me. I'll do the cable knitting fun bit. How hard can it be?

‘Meh’ at best. I’ve had a ringing in my ears all day, I never get this and it totally distracted me at the interview. I don’t think it went badly, I just think it could have gone better. The Gods obviously want me to stay where I am….

Edited - didn’t get it. Not the end of the world though, I’m not needing a job if that makes sense, it was either just not my time or they were looking for something else.

I've only just got back here after you first posted yesterday - sorry to hear you didn't get it. Totally understand about the ringing in the ears being distracting - I get it frequently, and it's horrendous, if I'm in a conversation it can occasionally mean I don't hear the convo properly.

Cheers, it was good experience but it wasn’t a job I was really enthusiastic about.

Also, I don’t think it’s a good idea to be interviewed by people who were your peers. Doesn’t really work as they know you and have probably chatted nonsense at a night out with. There was only person I didn’t really know so it was a very strange affair in all.

I've got "shelf stress" I have spaces in the pantry shelves and it's making me twitchy. I know there's only two of us and we don't eat a lot..

I bought an EcoFlow 60w fold up solar panel which I can hang out of my first floor window if needed and charge up phones and other small devices.

That looks pretty nifty. They do a USB-C version that can charge my phone directly. Back bedroom faces south. When I get my savings built up, I might get one.

Got an after visit message and summary, regarding my fictitious visit to hospital the other day. The summary says basically nothing. Never heard back from the secretary.
